Our school is continually planning different events for youngsters to encourage their creativity and good habits. Keeping this in mind, our school organised a fruit salad decoration exercise for students of class UKG, in which they elegantly depicted various fruits by creating various patterns.
Square Shape Activity | Nursery
Our school observed Square Shape Day by organising a square shape craft project for students in the nursery class. Children enjoyed taking part in the activity and making imaginative square shape crafts.
Hand Washing Activity | Primary Classes
Interact Club Members organised a Hand Washing Activity for primary class students on July 20, 2022, to raise awareness about illness prevention. The youngsters were instructed to wash their hands at critical moments, such as after using the restroom or before consuming meals. They were given hand washing instructions, which each student carefully observed and adapted.
Role Play Activity on Vegetable Vendor by UKG
Kundan International believe in ‘learning by doing.’ To help students comprehend the concept of ‘Vegetables,’ activity was organised in which students dressed up as vegetable merchants. Their articulation and speaking abilities captivated their teachers and peers. This exercise provided them with a fantastic opportunity to acquire confidence while also learning about various vegetables.
Special Assembly on Planets
Kundan International School organised a special assembly to teach UKG students about planets. Sharing their knowledge, dancing, and watching videos on the designated theme of ‘Planets’ was thoroughly cherished by everyone.
Poster Making Competition
Kundan International School students took part in a poster competition on how plastic pollution damages biodiversity and a healthy earth at St Joseph School Sector 44 in Chandigarh. Mr. Devendra Dalai, Department of Environment, Chandigarh Administration, was the chief guest, and he addressed the audience, saying that we should promise to say no to single-use plastic in order for our planet to survive. Prize distribution was also done, with our school receiving two awards in two categories. Aakash from class 7 received the Best Art Prize in the Junior Category, and Kirtika from class 10 received the Best Art Prize in the Senior Category.
Mother’s Day Card-Making Activity
Kundan International School organised a card-making activity for students to show their appreciation and love for mothers. Students had a great time participating in the creative activity.
Mother’s Day Activity
Mother’s Day is a special day for all children and mothers because it commemorates the everlasting tie of love and affection. Mothers are the family’s emotional backbone, with the magical ability to heal all wounds and make all things beautiful.
Mother’s Day celebrations were organised in schools, and kindergarten kids made creative art forms to honour their mothers who raise children and shape them into good people.
Thumb Painting Activity on ‘No Bag Day’
We planned a “No Bag Day” for our students. With this in mind, we organised a thumb painting activity for our students in which they drew beautiful drawings and painted them with their thumbs. Each student performed admirably and demonstrated their creative side to everyone. Have a look at the few colourful glimpses of the same!
World Dance Day
Kundan International School celebrated World Dance Day with zeal and fervour. The International Dance Committee of UNESCO, International Theater Institute, established the day in 1982.
The date was chosen to commemorate the birthday of French dancer Jean Georges Noverre. Kundan International School commemorated the occasion with special dance performances staged during a special assembly. Students from classes 5 and 6 demonstrated their abilities through various dance forms. Students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed the foot-tapping music along with exquisite dance forms.
Science Lab Practical
To improve our kids’ science learning experience, we held a practical laboratory session for them, giving them hands-on experience and allowing them to apply their theoretical knowledge in the lab for real-world experiments.
Puppet Show: Class V
We put on a puppet show for our class V children; it was a completely enjoyable activity in which our pupils acted well and vividly explained each story.
Poem Reaction Activity: Class I
For our pupils in class I, we did a poem reaction activity.
The major goal of this activity was to assess our students’ comprehension of the poem and have them react in accordance with their understanding.
This was a fantastic learning project that all of the students enjoyed.
Man-Made and Natural Things Activity: Class I
For our class I students, we planned an activity in which they were instructed to write down man-made and natural objects on different sheets and include a photo of each item.
This initiative was designed to give our young children a better awareness of the man-made and natural things around them.
Hands-on Activity: Class V
For our class V kids, we organised an activity in which they were asked to create a human digestive system out of clay.
This activity was planned to provide them with a hands-on experience with both theoretical and practical learning.
Handball Activity
Sports activities, in addition to studies, are a significant part of any student’s life.
We organised a handball activity on our school grounds for our pupils to enjoy while also building physical strength via sports. Both girls and boys enthusiastically engaged in the activity.
Earth Day Activity: Class VI
On the occasion of World Earth Day, we organised an activity in which our kids wrote an article on the special occasion, and a few students sketched it. The goal of this exercise was to create awareness about the importance of protecting our environment and our planet for future generations.
Earth Day Activity: Class V
Earth Day is a yearly celebration that takes place on April 22nd. Earth Day serves as a reminder to love and care for our planet.
On this special occasion, we held an activity for our class V kids in which they were asked to sketch and write a few messages about the importance of saving our mother earth for a better future.
Garden Activity: Class VIII
We arranged a garden activity for our children in class VIII to raise awareness about gardening and teach them how to plant a tree.
Everyone participated in the activity and gained some useful knowledge about the gardening process.
Quiz Activity: Class V
For our pupils in class V, we organised a quiz competition activity. The goal of this activity was to assess our students’ general awareness and make them aware of current events throughout the world.
Yoga Activity: Class V and VI
We held a Yoga session for our students in classes V and VI on our school grounds to help them with their overall mental and physical growth.
Yoga Activity: Class IV
Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices. Yoga is beneficial for both the body and the brain. It relaxes and de-stresses your thoughts.
By keeping this in mind, we organised a yoga session for students in class IV to help them grow physically and mentally.
Red Day Celebration | Class LKG and UKG
We conducted a “Show n Tell” activity for the students of class UKG.
The colour red is associated with zeal, energy, and vitality.
The students of LKG and UKG celebrated Red Day. The day started off with the colour red everywhere: red dress, red rose, red teddy, red car, red apples and even red cherries. In their red crimson attire, the tiny tots looked stunning. The “Red Day” event was a fantastic learning opportunity for youngsters, as it allowed them to sort and classify objects based on colour, reinforcing their cognitive abilities. It was a dazzling day, with innocent faces glistening and radiating pleasure, love, and happiness.
Biology Lab Practical
Practical learning is just as important as theoretical learning, thus we conducted a biology lab practical session for our students to offer them hands-on experience with what they learned in theory class.
Show and Tell Activity | Class LKG
For the students in class LKG, we held a “Show and Tell” activity. The kids were ecstatic to be a part of it.
The goal of the programme was to assist the children in overcoming their shyness and gaining confidence.
By bringing yellow-coloured items, all of the youngsters eagerly engaged in the exercise. They all performed a fantastic presentation with their props, displaying excellent expression and vocal modulation. They exuded confidence. For the tiny tots, it was a good learning experience.
Show and Tell Activity | Class UKG
We conducted a “Show n Tell” activity for the students of class UKG.
The children participated with zeal and excitement. They carried their props and put on a fantastic show. Kids even used facial expressions and voice modulation to make the activity more enjoyable.
They exuded confidence and spoke effectively. For the small ones, it was a beneficial learning experience.
Red Day Activity
Kids in the Pre-Nursery & Nursery classes participated in a ‘Red Day’ activity to introduce them to the fascinating world of colours. Our tiny tots were made to feel the various bright, vibrant tones of red. In their red outfits, our tiny tots looked stunning & cute. Our young ones also sang the Red Day song “My Red Balloon,” “Apples are Red Roses are red, I love red, red, red, red.”
Seed Sprouting Activity
Students in class 6 took part in a seed sprouting activity. Thanks to the teacher’s suggestions and manner, students got a lot of hands-on experience. Over the weekend, they were permitted to observe the seed activation process.
