Introducing AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Design Thinking

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES

CBSE School in Chandigarh

Kundan International School Chandigarh proudly announces the introduction of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Design Thinking in the school curriculum which will align  with the demands of next Generation.  Kundan International School Chandigarh is one of the few academic institutions in the Tri city to introduce AI and teach Design Thinking to its students. The initiative taken by Col.(Dr.) Rajesh Jasial, Director and Mrs. Yogesh Jadli, Principal aims to prepare the students for higher education in top global Universities.

AI refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans, mimic their actions and are capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. AI, an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches, advancements in machine learning and deep learning, is touching our lives in virtually every sector of the tech industry.

On the other hand, Design Thinking is a non-linear, iterative process that teams use to understand users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions to prototype and test. Involving five phases—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test—it is most useful to tackle problems that are ill defined or unknown. The new subject will make the young minds adept at problem solving, decision making and inculcate the habit of research.
