Schedule of Admission 2024-25

Procedure

    1. Admission forms for admission can be collected from the school office/school website free of cost from Thursday, December 7, 2023. Duly filled form is to be submitted at the school reception within two days.
    2. Parents must deposit Admission Fee (along with Admission Form and relevant documents) by cheque or online. No cash shall be accepted.
    3. Filling of Registration Form does not guarantee admission.

Facility of Play Way with Day Boarding, age 2+ years as on March 31, 2024

Nursery: 3+ years as on March 31, 2024 (children born on or before April 1, 2021) 

LKG: 4+ years as on March 31, 2024 (children born on or before April 1, 2020)

UKG: 5+ years as on March 31, 2024 (children born on or before April 1, 2019)

Admission to higher classes is subject to availability of seats

Seat Availability & Reservation for RTE Admissions

Class Nursery

Total Seats =36

Reserved for EWS under RTE Act =25% i.e 9 seats.

Procedure for admission: online, as indicated by The District Education Officer

Admission to Class Nursery

It is in accordance with Government guidelines. While we would like to accommodate all applicants on first come first serve basis, preference is given to the following:

  1. Sibling of students already studying at Kundan International School, Chandigarh.
  2. Staff wards of Kundan International School, Chandigarh.
  3. Students residing in nearby areas.

Criteria for Admission:

NUR, LKG & UKG: On the basis of personal interaction.

Classes I-V: On the basis of interaction and the result of the previous class.

Classes VI- XI: On the basis of interaction and the result of the previous class.

All admissions are on first come first serve basis.

Documents required to be submitted with Admission Form are listed here under:

  • Attested photocopy of Birth Certificate of the child. (Kindly bring along an Original Date of Birth Certificate for verification purpose. The same will be returned immediately).
  • Two Passport size photographs of the child, one each of child’s father and mother.
  • School Leaving Certificate (Class 1 onwards)
  • Latest Report Card of the Last School Attended (Class Nursery onwards).
  • Photocopy of residential Address Proof.
  • Photocopy of Aadhaar Card of the child.
  • Character certificate from school last attended.
  • Category certificate of the child, if applicable.

Schedule of Admission 2023-24

Procedure

  1. Admission forms for admission can be collected from the school office/school website free of cost from Wednesday, December 7, 2022 to Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Duly filled form is to be submitted at the school reception latest by Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
  2. Eligible Candidate List will be displayed (On the school notice board/school website) by Monday, January 16, 2023.
  3. Finalization and display of selected and waiting list by Friday, February 3, 2023.
  4. Deposit of Fee of selected students by Monday, February 13, 2023.
