On the evening of Thursday October 20, 2022, Kundan International School, Sector 46 B, Chandigarh, celebrated its 16th Founders Day. The show’s chief guest was Maj Gen Rambir Singh Mann VSM, director general of the Punjab Youth Center for Training and Employment. The chief guest, trustees, dignitaries and parents were all greeted by the president of the school managing committee, Dr. (Mrs.) Shashi Jain.
It introduced a variety of shades of “Motherhood,” including love for the country, mother nature, biological mother, caregiver in the shape of historical character “Panna Dai,” and the mythological mother-son relationship of “Krishna Yashoda.” It was a suitable homage to the mother figure who permeates all facets of human existence. Acknowledging the sacrifices mothers make in raising their children.
The young participants showcased their talent in dance, drama, music, yoga and Taekwondo. Tiny tots put up a Fashion Show, flaunting dresses of various countries. A ‘Welcome Song‘ by little ones as well. School Principal Mrs Yogesh Jadli presented the school’s annual report and Director of School Col (Dr) Rajesh Jasial presented the vote of thanks. The show ended on a high note with feet thumping Bhangra and Jago.
